welcome

If you have built castles in the air, your work need not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put foundations under them. Henry David Thoreau

Daughtry. Bliss.

So, a few weeks ago my bro and sis-in-law came to visit. And by invoking my mad persuasion skills, I convinced  Ange (AKA: Sis-in-law) to stay for the week. My bro found a ride back to Colorado because he had to work and I found myself in the bliss of having my favorite person and her four awesome kids at my house. To know Ange is to love her. (And I love my brother, too. I have to say that because he will get jealous if I don’t.)

Ange read my book. She’s the second one to read it. Ever. And she LOVED it. And I needed her to love it.  We stayed up late talking about it. Best. Time. Ever.

And we took the kids to the museum. And best of all: we went to see Daughtry. And I’m going to post my favorite song here. For you. You can thank me later. Or now. Or later. Whatever.

And sometimes life just feels really perfect. And everything is happy. And you want to remember it forever.

So I do. And I will.

Oo. I like it! (And I’m still waiting. Patiently. I think you know what for.)
