It's only 011110 (cool date, right?), but so far: my tooth fell out, my son broke his arm (our 4th broken bone in 8 months), and Mr. Peevie's car was hit-and-runned. But I'm an optimistic person! It could be worse, right? My tooth's been super-glued back in, my son could have cracked his head open instead of breaking his arm, and the car is just a car. I think losing an entire draft of revisions would be way worse. My January? It’s only 011110 (cool date, right?), but so far: my tooth fell out, my son broke his arm (our 4th broken bone in 8 months), and Mr. Peevie’s car was hit-and-runned.

But I’m an optimistic person! It could be worse, right? My tooth’s been super-glued back in, my son could have cracked his head open instead of breaking his arm, and the car is just a car.
