“Impossible” is Only an Illusion

I stole this title. Okay, not really because no one can own a title. They’re all fair game. This particular title is from a great little article you can read here and I loved the insight it brought.

So, I want to recommend it to you. Here is an excerpt to whet your whistle:

“Impossible” situations often open doors to beautiful experiences. The illusion of “impossible” can prevent us from exercising the faith to “move mountains.” Believing that God can do anything, and that he WILL do something, is a recipe for a miracle.

My first favorite scripture from when I was a little girl said,

Mark 10: 27

27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, aWith men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are bpossible.

My new brain adjustment: Instead of labeling something as seemingly impossible, it is the very impossibleness of it that makes it absolutely possible.

Go chew on that for awhile. I’m going to write an impossible scene and enrich a few impossible characters and send them on an impossible quest. (And I’m also waiting for one of my talented writer friends to correct my grammar on this post, because inevitably I’ve made a mistake. Oh, and I know that impossibleness isn’t really a word. It is now.)

What you conquering today of the impossible?

Not gonna correct your grammar, although I am talent–ed.

I agree completely!

Great. Not again! I’m going to have to ban you from my blog if you keep doing that…

(So do you agree with my blog post or that you are talented?)

Please don’t ban me… boohoo.

I agree with the post. Very much.
