Conference Alert
(Okay, this is not me. I totally stole it off the internet. I should repent, but I really wanted it on this blog post. And if I repent then I have to give it back…)
Are you watching General Conference this weekend?
You should be. (Did you get a sudden stab of guilt? Hm…)
Not only for the obvious reasons, like filling your cup and putting oil in your lamp, getting told not to steal things, like pictures that are not ours, and (most important) we get to hear a living prophet. How. Cool. Is. That.
But the other reason that you should be watching conference for is that my Emmie is singing in the children’s choir on Saturday afternoon (2:00 mst).
Farthest right side. Outside edge seat (still on the right). Choose the right, okay. Sixish rows from the bottom. Fivish rows from the top. Or vice-versa.
Pink shirt/black skirt/ blond ponytail. That’s my girl.
You may need a Kleenex, because I heard them practice and if you don’t shed a tear, well, let’s just say it’s a good thing that you are listening to GC, because your hardened soul probably needs it.
*And I have tickets! Watch for me and my sis, Lala, in the audience. What? Don’t you think you can pick us out of a crowd of 22,000? I’ll have to wear stripes and then you can play Where’s Waldo during the rest hymn. Oh. Yeah. And people think that we Mormon’s are boring. Oh. No. We know how to have a good time.*
(Okay, here is a link to where I got the pic from so now I won’t burn.)
P.S. The blogger that I stole the pic from is also the mother of lead guitarist from Maroon 5. How random is that?
Tony and I are going on a DATE on Sat. I know…..sinners….but I will RECORD conference and watch for Waldo Melinda and your cute little daughter. I can’t wait to hear them sing. I love to hear children sing, it’s truly angelic, and it’s got to go straight to our Heavely Fathers ears…
I wish I could go and see the kids from our Ward sing. We got tickets but it is for the Sunday morning session. I will be watching for you kids on the TV! Good luck kids!
