If you are like me, you are always on the lookout for a really good movie to watch.

Try Lars and the Real Girl.
When I first heard that it was about a guy who was in love with a blow-up doll, I was a little disconcerted, –my husband at first refused to see it, but no fear, this is not a sleazy movie. The whole town rallies around Lars to make “Bianca” feel at home.
It is tender, witty, charming, and funny. Add to that brilliant lines that give writers a thrill. And amazing acting. (My husband repented of the error of his ways and admitted that he loved it.)

We just watched that movie too and loved it. That and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind are my two favorite scripts, hands down. Plus, Ryan Gosling is a remarkable actor.
