Sign Seekers
We went to the zoo in China. JK.
The Hogle Zoo was probably never nicer than yesterday. I’m sure it had to do with the company and the sunshine. I am a little leery of cold weather after the recent “Winter in April” phenomenon. I ended up over-dressed and overly warm and actually sought out shade. It was a SIGN.
There is hope for summer. I tell you, hope!!! (I guess I should finally shave my legs.)
Allergies hit today. Another SIGN. I took some medicine that I hadn’t tried before and promptly took a nap. “May cause drowsiness” means it could be used as general anesthesia for me. You know, I’ll have to try that during my next dental visit. Take some Allegra beforehand. Good idea. But I digress.
- Oh, random but pertinent news: I got my official grade for College Algebra and it was a B-!!! I don’t know how or what or why. It’s a mighty big curve to say the least, but I’ll take it. A B- who woulda thought?
Another SIGN: my kids are outgrowing their clothes. The two youngest are in bonified floods. Ready for spring run-off and won’t even get their pants wet! (I could call their pants capris, if they were girls.-The boys, not the pants.) I need to do some serious summer shopping. Definitely a SIGN!
I have weeds galore. I had no idea. I haven’t been in my backyard since Porter left.
Weeds=SIGN
(I must be delirious: I’m actually excited for weeds to pull. See what winter does to you?)
I love Spring!
Have you seen any signs?
ok… I thought I saw some signs (like 70 or 80 degree weather the other day) and then today it SNOWED.
And it’s MAY now!
I cannot TOLERATE any more snow.
Enough I say!!!
(I think that will work. I think I can WILL the snow away.)
Snow be gone!
(too much Harry Potter last week.)
BTW your train trip to Temple Square looked like a lot of fun and there are tulips! Finally!
Oh, I SOOO agree with you about the weeds! I’ve never been so happy to see a dandylion in my whole life! Of course, it’s pouring down rain today – but it’s rain, not that other cursed stuff that falls out of the sky so often here. I love rain!
