Winter Cravings
Do you know what I am just ITCHING to do?
Besides sitting on a warm beach somewhere sipping mango juice? And getting a deep foot massage? And getting my eyebrows waxed? (Not at the same time. Did I mention that plucking my eyebrows drives me crazy?)
Embroidery.
I really love to embroider. Nothing too complicated. Something that can be done in a few hours. And then make it into a pillow or something and give it to someone I love.
I found a very cool website. I will share.

Vintage! So Cute!!!
I wish I could type and embroider at the same time. Or better yet, I wish I could do college algebra and embroider at the same time. Because I am spending waaaaay to much time with the whole algebra thing. But, hey, I got a B- on my first test! (This is nothing short of a miracle and an answer to prayer(s) (many fervent). Math is very time consuming. By the time I finish this class, I will be on a beach at Lagoona Beach (the amusement park in Utah-a land locked state)sipping mango juice chlorinated water and I will have no desire to embroider until next fall.
At least the pictures are fun to look at.
Do you ITCH to STITCH?
Embroidery IS math.
Most things are.
Math takes time. Sorry. Good luck.
A warm beach and fresh juice sounds great! Pineapple with mint. In Brazil of course.
I want to write. It is an itch I can’t reach at the moment.
Embroidery may be math -I can sorta see a vague resemblance, but it is most certainly not college algebra!
(Graphs would be so unattractive as a pillow.)
I’ll share my mango if you share your pineapple. Deal?
Let’s meet up on the beach and write. Sigh.
It’s a good thing writers have good imaginations.
See you in…Brazil. Then let’s visit Tahiti and finish it off in Hawaii.
Cheers!
