Top Ten Events of 2007

10. We got a lawn. Real grass on 1/2 an acre. It is a thing of beauty. (Well, right now it’s six inches under the snow.)

9. I read 46 books.

8. I finished 19 credits at BYU.

7. I got a new mattress. (Maybe this should be #1 because I kid you not, it has changed my life.)

6. I started this blog. (I’m sure you’ll want to put it on your top ten too.)

5. I flew to LA with Cowboyand saw my first Monet painting. (I saw another at BYU this summer. Two in one year, I could faint from the joy of it!)

4. Cowboy bought me an upright bass. (I need to play it more, but I love it.)

3.  My dog is becoming obedient.

2. My first essay was accepted for publication. (I’m on my last round of revisions and will soon send it off to be published!)

1. I attended my first writer’s conference and started a novel. (It is now at 26,000 word count.) Along with that, I have made some great new friends (writers and non) and maintained the love and support of old ones.

Overall, 2007 has been a great year. -No major illnesses, no broken bones, no stitches even. We have been very blessed.

What are your top tens for the year?
