Happy Thoughts Indeed

Today it is rainy. The sun is not out. The wind is blowing. The cat is complaining.

But I am having happy thoughts because:

I got an 96% on my midterm. Woohoo! (Is that bragging?)

My mentor/neighbor, Debbie, edited my paper for me and said the first half was beautiful. -She predicts I’ll get an A.

I got a compliment on my red/brown hair.

We went to Charlotte’s Web yesterday and my sweet Emelie (8) cried when Charlotte died and I cried with her. I love Charlotte.

John (4) said family prayers:

“Heavenly Father, Please bless Porter (our dog) that he will be safe. Please bless Princess that she will be safe in the field when she catches mice. Bless Grandma and Grandpa that they will be safe. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.”

I wish I could write the way his cute little lisp sounds. I heart John.

Tomorrow it will snow, but Spring snow always melts quickly and leaves the grass greener. -happy thought.

What are your happy thoughts?
